Do You ASK?
Recently, there have been several appearances of severe illness in my life by way of others. I believe situations come into my life for a reason, so I asked Spirit the purpose of this appearance in my consciousness. A short time later I was drawn to re-read certain passages of a book I hadn’t picked up in awhile. As always, I had my answer. My intention in writing about my learning is that my answer may also provide an answer for you.
What is your worry or concern as you read this? Lack of Love…money worries…appearance of illness…fears about your job or business? It doesn’t matter what it is – just Know you don’t have to continue living with it.
It is our nature…or perhaps curse…to solve our own problems and worries until we hit a wall and become desperate. It is only in desperation that we turn to prayer, asking our Supreme Being for help. These prayers usually take the form of supplications and pleadings for help. Our thoughts are constantly filled with the negative fears, doubts and worries we want to eliminate. But what we think and speak is what we attract back to us, so we end up increasing our negative thinking. We believe Spirit/God didn’t answer our prayers…even blame Spirit for foisting this problem upon us in the first place. WRONG!
Even though in your current consciousness worry, fear and illness may be a fact in your experience, it is not the Truth of who and what you are. You are attached to it only by your thoughts.
Stop lying to yourself with negative speech, thoughts, and actions. These are not the Truth of who you are…they’re just fears and illusions created in the mind. They can be changed! Stop believing in illness and there’s nothing left but Health – that is Spirit. Stop believing in your worries and there’s nothing left but Peace – that is Supreme Being. Stop believing in your fears and there’s nothing left but Faith – that is God!
It’s only by clearing your mind of every last vestige of negative thoughts…limiting beliefs, doubts, fears…that your prayers can be answered. It’s through realization and understanding that God/Spirit provides ALL your needs and wants…and the Belief and Faith you are already receiving it, though it may not yet be in your conscious awareness.
Think of Supreme Being very simply and easily as the Power from, by, and through which you live, BE and ARE…the Inner Faith and Principle that responds to your every need spontaneously!
Begin by being Grateful for all you have at this very moment, instead of concentrating on the negative things that seem to be in your life. You are alive! Give thanks for the understanding and knowledge you have right now, and for all the awareness, understanding and knowledge that is possible for you to gain in the future! We all have so much more than we realize…become aware of all that you DO have and be Grateful!
Your ability to manifest your wants and desires is in direct proportion to the degree of your awareness and Oneness with Spirit/God/Supreme. It is Not that God doesn’t want you to have all you desire – it is your conviction, Belief and Faith that you are good enough to have and receive it! Your absolute Faith that it is on its way – regardless of how things may appear – is all you need.
With Faith, you do not complain if answers to prayers are delayed. Instead, examine the foundation of your Faith – analyze your thinking to find what is blocking your answer. Faith that is active, alive and used always works.

I am always in Awe at how perfectly God/Spirit works when I ask. In the past I’d felt confused about an answer or didn’t think I got the answer, so in frustration I asked God to “send me an email!” Now I often receive answers to my questions through some form of written or spoken word – email, book, conversations – usually unrelated to my question, but always providing the AHA…the Perfect Answer! You can do this too…just believe you can, then try it.
