Efficient ACTION

We have pulled Thought and Action together so we can position ourselves to receive what we desire. Not just any action…we must take Efficient Action.
So far we know we can create whatever we desire – the proof is in the fact that we create everything we currently think and say we want…I don’t have enough money – I’ll never get that job – I’m not qualified or smart enough – I can’t charge more for my services – and on and on ad infinitum.
The things we think and say about ourselves (and money) are only true because thinking and saying them makes them true, which impresses those thoughts upon original substance and begins the process of creation. We already know how the process works. It’s time to change what we are creating into something we want and desire, instead of the opposite. It is time to change our thinking – what we think and how we think.
Wattles said, “Thought is the creative power or the impelling force which causes the creative power to act.”
Wattles’ precepts for getting rich are to form a clear and definitive picture of our desire in our minds; hold the image in our minds with a fixed Purpose to get our vision and Faith it is already on its way to us. We must cancel and cast out any and all thoughts to the contrary and maintain ONLY the positive thoughts and attitudes that our vision is on its way – paying NO attention to any circumstances that may appear to the contrary or make it seem impossible. Then, we must take Action NOW…in our present position, environment and circumstance, following the Certain Way that we are giving more in use value than we receive in cash or monetary value.
But taking just any action is not enough…we must begin where we are, and do ALL we can do by being larger than our present place or position. No one is larger than his present position if he leaves any work undone that is related to that position. The world advances only through people who do more than their present place or position requires.
When people don’t quite fulfill their present place or role, they are dead weight in the world and must be “carried” by others, who must then step in to pick up the slack. The world’s progress is slowed by those who don’t honestly fill the roles and places they are holding.
In the animal world, evolution was caused by species that more than filled their roles. And that Law is the same for man…getting rich depends on applying this principle to our life and affairs.
Every day is either a success or a failure. If there is something that can be done today and we don’t do it, we have failed as far as that thing is concerned. We will never be able to foresee the results of even the most trivial act and cannot possibly know all the forces that have been set in motion for us by thinking of our desires. A great deal may depend on doing some simple little thing…the exact thing that opens the door of opportunity to our greatest possibilities.
We can never know what Supreme Intelligence is putting into place for us in the world. Neglecting or even delaying to do what seems like some minor thing can delay or prevent us getting what we want.
So now, add this Basic Fact to your list of the Certain Way to getting rich:
