Gain Riches with Gratitude

“If you fix upon your consciousness the fact that your desire for the possession of riches is one with the desire of the Supreme Power for more complete expression, your faith becomes invincible.”  ~ Wallace Wattle

God – Supreme Being, wants those He gifted in playing music to have the instruments for their expression.  He wants all people who perceive and understand Truth to have the opportunity for travel and observation.  He wants everyone gifted with creativity to offer their creations to the world.  He wants all who appreciate good food to eat luxuriously, but not excessively.

He wants this because we are all His creation. God wants us to play, sing, proclaim Truth, wear fine clothes, eat great food, enjoy all the beauty and greatness He created – to better ourselves and to better mankind.

So do not hesitate to ask for all you desire. The difficult part for most people is in believing God wants everyone to have all that they want…because they still retain old ideas about poverty and self-sacrifice as being pleasing and acceptable to God.  They may believe that God finished all his creations in 7 days, that they have all been used up, and that there is nothing left to go around.  They may feel ashamed to ask for wealth or believe it wrong to have riches.

However, it IS necessary to follow all the principles of the Certain Way in creating your wealth.  One of these principles, Harmony of Spirit, is so vitally important as to warrant more instruction and discussion to help bring you into unity of mind with God – Supreme Being.

The process of mental unity can be put into one word – Gratitude…feeling deep and profound gratitude AND acknowledging your gratitude to God.  It seems reasonable and is easy to understand that the soul which lives close to God, is connected to Him, and is always grateful shall receive more wealth from the Source of all wealth and riches.  Someone who rarely or never expresses their gratitude for the gifts they’ve received is NOT connected to God.

“Many people who order their lives rightly in all other ways are kept in poverty by their lack of gratitude.” ~ W.D. Wattles

Be Grateful for all you have…see everything in a positive light. Even if you are living on the street, sleeping in a box, be aware that the box for shelter is a gift – it is more than others may have.  There is always some good in every experience – we just have to recognize it.  Gratitude alone can keep you in the right frame of mind…preventing you from falling back into thinking there is a limited supply of abundance.

We must follow the Law of Gratitude! Wattles stated it as…”the natural principle that action and reaction are always equal and in opposite directions.”  Your mind expends energy as it reaches out in Gratitude to God…and God immediately returns your grateful energy back to you.

This becomes a pendulum of positive energy moving between you and God, as He provides His gifts and you acknowledge them with gratitude.  It is Gratitude that keeps you connected with power and away from the negative, dissatisfied thoughts founded in lack and poverty.  As soon as you allow your mind to dwell on these negative, inferior thoughts, you lose ground and your mind starts to create the tangible forms of the inferior – instead of the riches you are attempting to achieve.

Our inner creative power, our Thoughts, makes us into the image of whatever we are paying attention to and thinking about.  A grateful mind is always thinking about the Best; therefore, we attract and receive the Best.

“Faith is born from Gratitude.  The grateful mind continually expects good things, and expectation becomes Faith.”  ~ W.D. Wattles

Every thought of grateful thanksgiving creates and increases Faith. Without a living Faith you cannot get rich by the creative method, using Wattles’ Certain Way!
