Numerology… Questions and Answers

There has been some confusion about how the 9-year cycles in numerology work and I want to answer those questions and clear up the confusion.

We all live our life based on the 9-year cycles in Numerology. Each number 1 through 9 has a specific energy vibration and holds specific intentions for learning in a particular year.  Each year is known as your “Personal Year”.  All nine numbers always have the same meaning and energy vibrations, no matter where they appear.  But the situations and experiences each number can bring forth are infinite.  You complete a cycle having learned some lessons during each of the nine years, then you move on to another cycle.

One question asked was: “If you’re smart and learn the lessons in every year of your first cycle, do you start over to learn the same lessons again and again as you live through all the cycles that follow?”  The simple answer is no.  The full answer is more complex.

First, you most likely are not born in “year 1” of your cycle. The Personal Year of your birth depends solely on your birth date.  If you were born on 5/26/1978, adding all the numbers makes this your “2” Personal Year.  But if you were born on 5/31/1979, your Personal Year is an “8”.  How much conscious learning were you capable of during your infancy and toddler years – at least in the realms of higher learning and awareness?  This birth year number is also known as your Birth Force number, giving a hint of your God-given ability and challenges.

Then as you live and learn in each cycle, your awareness and understanding increases, moving you to the next level.  So the next cycle will offer lessons of greater learning intensity than the previous cycle.  It’s very much like how you learned about numbers in school – preschool taught what 1, 2, 3 looked like and how to write them; elementary school taught you how to add, subtract, multiply and divide; and high school was about algebra, geometry etc.  You weren’t taught the same lessons each year unless you forgot some from the previous year – then you had to review and relearn.

It’s the same with each cycle in numerology – you move up to higher levels of learning – unless you didn’t learn, forgot or slid backward to your old ways and must relearn your lessons.  Think of them as pre-requisites you must have before moving on to a new level of learning in the next cycle.

Another question asked was:  “If I pay attention at the beginning of my personal year and learn my lesson early, am I done for that year?”  Again, the simple answer is no, but of course there’s more to it than that.

Think of your Personal Year as having a lesson “theme,” not just one simple lesson. For example, as you progress through a 4-year, you could be learning about being organized or following rules.  Each situation you experience will be different and possibly a bit more difficult at your current level of knowledge and understanding.  As you experience different situations and learn the necessity of organization or following rules, you gain understanding that takes you to a higher level.  As the year progresses, new situations and experiences are presented to offer ever higher learning.  So by the end of the year, you really get that lesson theme.

However, if you’ve rejected each experience and situation for learning and considered them to be someone else’s fault, or something that happens TO you, you have just set yourself up for nine more years of the same lesson coming back over and over to bite you!  And this will be true even if after 5 years you finally learn it – situations and experiences WILL continue so as to cement that lesson in your mind!

Remember, there are always reasons you must learn particular lessons during your life, even if you can’t see them or know what they are.  You could be stuck on a lesson you should have learned at age 16, 27, or 40 and you cannot continue to the next level in your life plan or purpose until you complete the pre-requisites.

Learning lessons in the year they come up will make your life SO much easier!
