Summary to Getting Rich

Over the past few weeks I’ve put Wattles’ book, The Science of Getting Rich into a more understandable form as Spirit inspired and directed. This came about after I asked God /Spirit for help in putting all the concepts into perspective. In this last post in the series I created a summary of the concepts for Wattles’ Certain Way to getting rich for easy reference in one place. I hope you find it helpful. Wattles truly believed these concepts are all anyone needs to become rich, as long as a person follows them explicitly. Wattles wrote The Science of Getting Rich before Napoleon Hill wrote his book ”Think and Grow Rich,” in which Hill expanded on Wattles original ideas by studying the very rich men of his time for many years.
A Summary for Getting Rich using Wallace Wattles the Certain Way…
“Thought is the creative power or the impelling force which causes the creative power to Act.” ~ W.D. Wattles
There is original thinking stuff (Energy.) Everything is made of this formless intelligence and it permeates and fills all spaces in the Universe.
A thought in this stuff produces what is imaged by that thought. Original substance will create your desires, but will never take anything away from others so you can have them.
In order to cause the thing one thinks about to be created, a person must go from the competitive to the creative mind, in order to be in harmony with formless intelligence, which is always creative…never competitive.
A person creates a clear and distinct mental picture of a want or desire in his thoughts using this substance (energy,) chooses to hold it constantly in his mind with the Purpose of causing its creation in solid form and the invincible and unwavering Faith that it is already his in real life.
Have an oral statement of Gratitude to God (Supreme Being,) acknowledging how grateful you are for already having it and how much you enjoy it. From that moment on in your mind you must Receive what you asked for – all the while maintaining your Purpose and Faith.
To stay in complete harmony with this formless substance, a person must maintain a sincere gratitude for all blessings received. It’s Gratitude that unifies a person with supreme intelligence, so the image of his thoughts is impressed into original intelligence. And a person can stay on the creative plane by always maintaining a deep, continuous Gratitude.
Form a Clear and Definitive mental image of what he wants to have, do, or become; and must maintain this mental image in his mind with deep Gratitude to the Supreme that his desire is granted and on its way to him.
Then ACT in the Now! You can’t accomplish anything by thinking in the past. In fact, it’s essential you completely let go of the past in order to maintain a clear mental vision. Take Action Now…in one’s present position, environment and circumstance and following the Certain Way – giving more in use value than one receives in cash or monetary value.
Taking just any action is not enough, however…a person must begin where he is, and do ALL he can do by being larger than his present place or position…leaving no work undone related to that position and doing more than the present position requires. One can never foresee the results of even the most trivial act, nor possibly know all the forces that have been set in motion for one‘s good.
